Richard L. Lynch, CPA, PA, Partner
Rick has numerous clients in the fields of Agribusiness, Manufacturing and Service Industries. Rick has concentrated his efforts towards tax and for-profit accounting, with an emphasis on closely held corporation and partnerships. Rick currently sits on a number of local boards of directors and is extremely active in the community.
Rick graduated from Stetson University in 1981 and moved to the Treasure Coast area where he entered the public accounting profession. He started his own firm in 1985, merged with our firm in 1990. Rick is married with two sons and currently lives in Ft. Pierce.
Over the years, Rick has had a myriad of job experience including start ups of large manufacturing concerns, real estate development and farming. He has been Special Master to the Court on numerous occasions and provides expert witness testimony on various subjects. He has instructed college courses and given numerous seminars on tax and estate issues.
Rick also continues to stay active in professional accounting organizations, such as the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, Tax Practice Section of the AICPA and the Management Advisory Section of the AICPA.
George L. Johnson, Jr., Partner, Retired
George is a graduate of Florida State University. His experience includes four years on the audit staff of Ernst and Whinney in Miami, where he had significant audit experience. In addition to public experience, he was assistant controller for Flagship Banks, Inc. for seven years. He joined the predecessor firm to LYNCH, JOHNSON & LONG, LLC in 1982.
George's specialties include audits of construction contractors, condominium associations, not-for-profit entities, and other commercial organizations, as well as providing tax services to individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and trusts. He has served as Team Captain in the AICPA's Peer Review Program. He has also served as the network administrator for the firm's computer system and has selected and installed both computer hardware and software. In addition, he has trained others in the use of computer software. George is married, has one daughter and lives in Port Saint Lucie.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Wallace T. Long, Jr., CPA, PA, Partner, Retired
Toby Long joined the predecessor firm in 1981 after graduating from Florida Atlantic University. He became a partner in 1990, and retired from his full time position as partner in 2002. During his tenure, he worked on numerous audits for clients in a variety of industries including government, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate and not-for-profit organizations. He is continuing to assist the firm on a part time basis.
Toby also stays involved in the St. Lucie County community of which he is a life-long member. He has volunteered his services for several community activities, particularly those benefiting the school system and youth projects. He is married and lives in Port Saint Lucie.
Professionally, Toby is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
